Kihei Arts Council League Meetings  are first Tuesday of every month at the art room in the Kenolio Recreation complex in Kihei, HI. The meetings begin promptly at 7:00 and are open to the public.
 
 

March 6, 2001  Presentation on Maui Giclee, the finest in fine art printing.

September 5, 2000 A video entitled "Painting Streams, Rocks, and Trees in Watercolor" will be shown. 

August 1, 2000 Doris Williamson topic "The Great Gourd Mother" raising, drying, and dressing gourds for fun and profit.

July 4, 2000  Linda Whittemore  topic "Intaglio Print  Making Process with Watercolor"

June 6, 2000  Sunshine Powers topic "My Life as an Artist"

May 2, 2000 Julie Houck topic "Angularized Drawing Using the Envelope" 

April 4, 2000  Fred Danielson topic "Watercolor Sketching" 

March 7, 2000 George R. Harker topic "Selling Art on the Internet" 
 
 

Life Drawing Sessions:   Margaret Bedell handles the life drawing classes.

Membership:  Interested individuals can become members of the Kihei Art Council and League by sending a check for $20 to KACL, P.O. Box 1116, Kihei, HI 96753. Members will receive a monthly news letter with more details on KACL activities.
